About the Extraordinary Ministry of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are engaged in the important role of sharing the Blessed Sacrament with the assembly. They assist the priest with ministering Communion to the assembly in a welcoming and reverent manner, and putting away the sacred vessels after Mass.
Ministers are welcome to serve at a Mass time of their choice. At Sunday Masses, a roster system is in place to ensure the role is fulfilled equitably.
